Welcome to Howard C. Johnson Elementary School. My name is Lisa Lane and I am the principal. I am privileged to be the principal of the Johnson community and to be working with our dedicated staff, wonderful Parent Teacher Organization and supportive community.

As I conclude my final year in education and prepare for retirement, I find myself reflecting with great gratitude on the families, students, and staff who have made this journey so meaningful.

We have many fun events and activities planned for our students this month. I am looking forward to finishing the school year strong alongside all of you!

It may be hard to believe, but we still have about 2 months left in the school year. There is important work still to be done and many great activities planned for our students. Please help your students to manage their busy schedules, get enough rest, and put forth their best efforts in school. This includes their academic responsibilities as well as appropriate behavior.

I am sure everyone is excited to see winter coming to an end and to welcome Spring! The year is moving quickly as we are approaching the end of the second trimester. Please be sure to check the Parent Portal on April 2 for your child’s report cards...
