Standardized Testing Calendar for This School Year

This spring, the PARCC assessment will replace the NJ ASK and the HSPA tests, as required by law.

All students in grades 3-8 and high school students taking certain courses will now be tested using the PARCC assessment this spring.

The Jackson School District has established a schedule in order to complete all of the required testing during the windows of time established by the state.

Please select the letter for the grade level/school for your child to view that unique testing schedule. These dates are also listed on the calendar on the district and school websites.

Principal's Message

January 30, 2015

Dear Johnson Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their week. I know it seemed like a quick week with a delay, early release and a snow day, but we still managed to have the 90th day of school.  The students and staff looked great as they wore their favorite 90’s attire. We look forward to the 100th day of school.  Today we conducted Lunch with the Principal and celebrated students who consistently demonstrate great citizenship and character traits.

Our Winter Box Tops Contest & Raffle began on January 7.  The top three classes that collect the most Box Tops by February 20th will win an ice cream sundae party.  Students who participate may also enter the Winter Box Tops Raffle by completing the entry form located in the Johnson Backpack and returning it to their teacher before the contest ends.  The Box Tops for Education program has always been a great success, but we need your help to keep it going.
