District Happenings

Notice - Thursday, March 5 @ 7 p.m.

The Jackson School District will be CLOSED on Friday, March 6 due to weather conditions.

Some parents may be experiencing a delay in the receipt of their emails from our automated system. This is due to a delay on the part of Optonline. We are working with them to resolve it.
Please be sure to read any messages carefully to ensure you are viewing the specific dates impacted.

This closure means we will be pushing some of our PARCC testing dates. We will post new information on those dates on our website on Friday.

Museum Night is Postponed

The Museum Night Event for tomorrow night (Thursday, March 5th)
has been POSTPONED due to weather concerns.

The new date is Wednesday, April 22
at 6 p.m. at Jackson Liberty High School.

Principal's Message

February 27, 2015

Dear Johnson Families,

I hope everyone had a great week. This week we had our Character Education Assembly, as well as Lunch with the Principal, to celebrate all of the students who have demonstrated positive character traits and have served as role models for the rest of the students.  We also conducted a lockdown and fire drill to ensure student safety in the event of an emergency.  On Tuesday night I had the honor of escorting our well deserved Teacher of the Year, Mrs. Abline, and Educational Professional of the Year, Dr. Defort, on stage as they were recognized at the Board of Education meeting.  I am very proud of their determination and effort working with our students. They represent the Johnson Family well.
